Travel: Experiencing Katibawasan Falls, Camiguin Island, Philippines



Katibawasan Falls is located in the island of Camiguin, Mindanao, Philippines and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region not only because of its spectacular beauty but of accommodating folks as well. This falls is about 250 feet high and almost a totally vertical in angle--about 90 degrees. Water temperature ranges from 5-15 degree celsius

A Shining Smile From Badjao



An eleven-year old badjao girl (with her sibling) delivers a shining smile after receiving a penny from folks.

Badjao is a popular cultural minority in Southern Philippines who settle along the coastal areas of countrysides. They usually come to cities during holidays particularly during Christmas to ask for some goods--for survival--and return home as holiday seasons end.

The Durian Dome-People's Park, Davao City



This Durian Dome is among the unusual attractions that can be found in one of Davao City's famous tourist (local and foreign) destinations--the People's Park.

FYI: Durian is a popular tropical fruit, particularly in Davao City, that is thought to be the king of all fruits not only because of its size but of its unusual taste as well--known to be the fruit that smells like hell but tastes like heaven.
