A Shining Smile From Badjao

An eleven-year old badjao girl (with her sibling) delivers a shining smile after receiving a penny from folks.

Badjao is a popular cultural minority in Southern Philippines who settle along the coastal areas of countrysides. They usually come to cities during holidays particularly during Christmas to ask for some goods--for survival--and return home as holiday seasons end.

The Durian Dome-People's Park, Davao City

This Durian Dome is among the unusual attractions that can be found in one of Davao City's famous tourist (local and foreign) destinations--the People's Park.

FYI: Durian is a popular tropical fruit, particularly in Davao City, that is thought to be the king of all fruits not only because of its size but of its unusual taste as well--known to be the fruit that smells like hell but tastes like heaven.
